BaySpec’s Nunavut™ series of Indium-Gallium-Arsenide (InGaAs) or charge-coupled device (CCD) cameras are designed to meet real-world challenges for best-in-class performance, long-term reliability, compact size and optimized power consumption.

Benefiting from experience manufacturing high-volume optical devices for the telecommunications industry, BaySpec’s InGaAs detectors and silicon-based CCD detectors utilize high reliability, field-proven components.

The Nunavut™ camera series employs the latest in opto-electronic components to bring you maximized sensitivity at a very competitive price. When matched to a NIR-SWIR (Nunavut™ InGaAs NCAM), UV-VIS-NIR (Nunavut™ CCD VCAM) or Raman spectrograph, you have a compact, high performance, cost-effective instrument.

Each camera is calibrated in the factory after extensive thermal cycling. The control electronics read out the processed digital signal to extract required information. Both the raw data and the processed data are available to the host. Optimal cooling of the detector arrays allows for greatly improved low-light spectral measurements and reduced dark noise.
