1528-1605 nm; Output Power 13 dBm Typ.; Termination SM Fiber Pigtail, FC/APC Connector; Spectrum Flatness 2.5 dB Typ.; Output Power Stability ≤0.1 dB

This ASE (amplified spontaneous emission) light source is generated by spontaneous emission from a RE-doped optical fiber pumped by 980 nm light in an APC control mode. The flattened ASE light source features high output optical power, low polarization and wide spectral width. The device is small in size with high stability and reliability.

With 5 VDC power supply and upper computer software, the C+L-band flattened ASE light source provides R232 serial communication via an electrical interface to read and write internal parameter status in real time. Module and benchtop structures are available for different needs.
