Since the mid-nineties, the name EPIGAP stands for know-how in the area of semiconductor technology for production of LED chips and photodiode chips. The product range was extended and further sharpened in the following years with LEDs, SMDs, photodiodes and customer-specific CoB modules in series of small and medium quantities.
Today, EPIGAP Optronic GmbH, set up in 2011, develops and manufactures LED as well as photodiode standard products and customer-specific solutions for various branches of industry, such as medical technology, industrial sensors, special lighting and safety technology.
The portfolio comprises standard LED components in molded plastic, hermetic TO or SMD packages as well as bare LED chips, including special versions like point source LED chips or monolithic LED display chips for optical systems. On the photodiode side, EPIGAP Optronic offers molded plastic, hermetic TO and SMD photodiodes as well as avalanche silicon photodiodes (APD) and bare photodiode chips.
