Embraco-Nidec is specialized in highly efficient compressors for refrigeration, among others. Their Wisemotion compressors have a linear motor that drives the piston directly and are made of parts that do not need lubrification. Capacity is controlled by stroke at a virtually constant frequency. The extremely quick response time and the oil-free circuit make them suitable for high performance micro channel evaporators that can be used to cool laser diodes.
