The UFIBER™ series comprises precise and high-intensity UV LED spot-curing systems suitable for high-precision curing & bonding applications in a compact and versatile unit. In these intuitive systems, UWAVE combines the high performance and benefits of UV LED technology to deliver optimized & consistent light on a precise location.

With irradiance levels reaching 1,200 mW/cm², UFIBER™ systems are perfect for in-lab tests and UV curing processes. For longer lifetime and more stable optical performances, a heat-sink body can be added onto the UFIBER™ body to improve thermal management.

Four different lenses (window, large, medium & focus) can be mounted for different optical performances regarding power, spot size, etc. Theses lenses and LED heads can be used in any combination.

Available wavelengths include 365 nm, 385 nm, 395 nm and 405 nm. Any other wavelength (UV-C, UV-B, Visible and IR) is available upon request, please contact AMS Technologies for further details.

These combined features make UFIBER™ systems the perfect UV spotlight for quick and precise curing of adhesives, coatings and encapsulants.

For powering and controlling the UFIBER™ systems, UWAVE provides different types of controllers for different requirements. The screen version of the UPOWER™ UV LED power supply & control unit can control up to six UFIBER™ heads simultaneously or independently. With its intuitive screen interface, it allows to choose mode, time and power parameters – including semi-automatic operation using a footswitch as well as fully automatic operation allowing smart communication with a PLC.

The UFIBER™ LED has a much higher output power stability than other technologies and does not emit infrared radiation, thus heat-sensitive materials can be processed. UV LEDs are eco-friendly as they do not create ozone, do not contain mercury and only need a few watts to operate.
