When cooling the inside of a cabinet to slightly above the outside air temperature with standard cabinet coolers (TEC or heat pipe based) is not sufficient, flush mount liquid based cabinet coolers are a powerful solution for cooling the inside of a cabinet below ambient temperatures. These liquid to air thermal management assemblies are easy to install (to the outside of the cabinet, typically on the side) and maintain, using only 4 l/min water source for most units.

As a base for customized liquid-to-air cooling solutions, AMS Technologies’ thermal management specialists have realized liquid cooling development kits in different performance levels based on compressors. Consisting of a sealed vapour compression circuit with compressor, aluminium finned copper tube heat exchanger coil as condenser and a brazed plate liquid to liquid heat exchanger as evaporator and interface to the liquid cooling circuit, these kits contain all necessary components on the refrigerant side. For customer projects, the user just has to select and add a suitable fan and set up the liquid cooling circuit including the pump.
