AMS Technologies’ large range of filter fans available from stock are effective and low-cost solutions for removing heat from cabinets or enclosures, filtering and blowing lower-temperature ambient air into the cabinet.
AMS Technologies’ range of filter fans available from stock is among the most extensive ones on the market and includes models with very low-profile shape and quick mounting capabilities in various performance classes with air flows from 15 m³/h to 930 m³/h (free blowing) and supply voltages from 12 VDC to 400 VAC (depending on type), ideally suited for different requirements and operating conditions up to IP55 class of protection. Also part of our filter fan offering are models with large filter surface and low installation depth, featuring free air flow values ranging from 59 m³/h to 730 m³/h, with dimensions ranging from 116 x 116 mm to 344 x 344 mm.
In addition to our dedicated filter fans, AMS Technologies carries a wide portfolio of general purpose fans, designed to achieve high air flow performance, low-noise operation and low power consumption.
Exhaust filters are an important component for systems that remove excessive heat from cabinets or enclosures using filter fans. Most filter fans work in blowing mode, i.e. blowing cool outside air into the cabinet. In this setup, the filter fan should be mounted to the cabinet as low as possible to utilize thermal convection. The corresponding exhaust opening should be positioned inside the cabinet wall or top as high as possible – protected by a dedicated exhaust filter.
