In a thermoelectric module, the Peltier effect is used for cooling – and its opposite, the Seebeck effect, for power generation. Thermoelectric systems require careful design, proper selection of components and special skills for assembly. We partner with companies with decades of expertise in thermoelectricity. Our partners are constantly refining the material compositions, the semi-automated production of their highest quality modules as well as the assembly and finishing of complete units.

Our portfolio of thermoelectric or Peltier modules comprises variants for industrial applications or consumer devicesmultistage modules for high temperature difference requirements and micro modules for optoelectronics.

Based on and beyond this portfolio, AMS Technologies provides extensive development services for medical equipment, instrumentation, transportation and other applications. We also offer a complete thermoelectric solutions portfolio, including design consultancy and all components for thermoelectric modules, heat sinks, temperature controllersassemblies (air-to-air, plate-to-airliquid-to-air and others). Furthermore, thermoelectric recirculating chillers are available with extraordinarily high efficiency and quiet operation.

AMS Technologies’ pickaTEC program makes a large number of different standard thermoelectric cooler modules (TECs or Peltier modules) available off the shelf for our customers. These preferred TECs are ideal for proof of concepts, fast turnaround design-ins and smaller volume batches. See below for a selection guide to these preferred TECs. Most of the modules can also be used as thermoelectric power generators.
