When it comes to liquid cooling solutions, smooth operation across random load cycles, compact size or 24 VDC for ease of medical certification are often the features customers value most.
Matching these requirements, AMS Technologies offers two liquid cooling evaluation kits with 450 W or 1000 W cooling capacity based on miniature compressor circuits and allowing customers to add and install their own liquid coolant circuits, as well as four recirculating chillers with pre-configured, water circuits – two evaluation kits, with 450 or 900 W cooling capacity, as a starting point for customer-specific solutions, as well as ready to use recirculating chiller unit with integrated universal 100 to 240 VAC power supply and a CE mark – providing up to 450 W (mRC-C-450-100/240) and up to 1000 W (mRC-C-1000-100/240) of cooling capacity.
The mLC-C-450-24-KIT mini Liquid Cooling Kit is a sealed vapor compression circuit with a low-vibration, low-noise, speed-controlled miniature rotary BLDC compressor, designed as an evaluation kit for customers to build their own water cooling application on. The evaporator within the cooling system’s refrigerant loop is a brazed plate heat exchanger featuring male R ¼” connectors to interface with the customer’s OEM liquid coolant circuit.
Based on this liquid cooling kit, our mRC-C-450-100/240 mini Recirculating Chiller comes with a closed, pressurized recirculating water circuit. With compact centrifugal pumps on the water circuit side and a pressurized water circuit allowing for a very small tank, this recirculating chiller features full chiller power and up to 450 W cooling capacity in a shoe box form factor. Its universal 100 to 240 VAC power supply allows it to be plugged in anywhere in the world.
For higher heat loads, AMS Technologies offers the mRC-C-1000-100/240 mini Recirculating Chiller V, featuring a more powerful compressor and capable of cooling capacities up to 1000 W.
Most of our liquid cooling applications are suitable for water, glycol-water and de-ionized water and typically target cooling of reagents or photonics that require cooling below ambient. For applications where the coolant temperature can be above ambient we have developed compact pump-air cooler-expansion tank units.
In addition to the company’s liquid cooling solutions, AMS Technologies provides liquid cooling components like cold plates or heat exchangers, as well as air cooling components like fans, filter fans, heat sinks and thermoelectric modules (TECs), or thermal management accessories like thermal paste.
AMS Technologies’ solution portfolio also includes air cooling solutions, comprising of compressor-based and Peltier-based air-to-air thermal management assemblies with cooling capacities of 400 W and 460 W respectively, as well as direct cooling solutions working without air or liquids as the heat transfer medium.
