Fiber Optic Isolators

For most standard wavelengths between 488 and 1650 nm, AMS provides a range of free-space and fibre-pigtailed optical isolators. All isolators feature a patented construction, provide up to 60 dB of isolation and are available either as polarisation-dependent or polarisation-independent models. Power handling in standard isolators can be as high as 10 W through a singlemode fibre, all with minimum insertion losses. Typical applications include laser protection, for use with fiber coupling systems, for optical amplifiers and with CATV systems.
