Viavi Solutions’ OLA-54/55 series of SmartClass optical level attenuators are future-proof, improved variable attenuators for fiber system testing as well as installation, maintenance, and production of multi mode fibers (OLA-54) and single mode fibers (OLA-55).

The OLA-54/55 series reduce testing time with a quick start operation, requiring no warm-up time. They provide excellent overall accuracy in use with hundreds of calibrated wavelengths, reduce the need for couplers or additional instruments in test setups and minimize insertion loss due to a special optical design.

OLA-54/55 optical level attenuators can be part of a SmartClass optical test kit that contains all of the tools, including instruments and accessories, necessary to perform professional-grade power or loss tests in the field.
