In the last years, we have seen an impressive increase in the number of industries and applications for laser micromachining. The end-users have more and more demanding requirements in terms of throughput and precision. So, new developments in the laser sources and the other components of the workstations are needed: ultra-short-pulsed lasers, mid-IR wavelengths, scanners, robots and movement stages, software, integration.
EPIC invites the whole supply chain to present the new developments in laser micromachining, discuss the needs of the system integrators and end-users and find who photonics can help to overcome the remaining challenges.
