Toptica eagleyard’s RWL 808, 400 mW is the first single mode (SM) laser diode with 400 mW CW output power from polarization maintaining single mode fiber at a wavelength of 808 nm on the market. This unique single mode laser diode benefits from all advantages of its hermetically sealed butterfly packages and is "plug and play" due to its fiber pigtail with connector.
The RWL 400 mW SM laser diode is focused on power delivery with a center wavelength around the absorption peak 808 nm (a tighter tolerance can be achieved with FBG upon request). A brilliant polarization is achievable for higher efficiency. The RWL 400 mW SM laser diode will mainly be used as pump for fiber lasers, for optical tweezers and in optical communication.
