The highly compact SDS's APD series is specially designed to meet the high voltage power requirements of scientific instrumentation used in the industrial, medical and military sectors. These modules provide access to voltages of up to 500 VDC in instruments where space is an important factor in order to achieve greater quantum efficiency and reduced total leakage current.
With its ultra-miniaturized (5.75 cm³) metal case, the APD HV DC/DC converter series features low radiation noise. The devices are also lightweight (13 g) and allow for flat mounting on printed circuit boards with a height of only 11 mm. 64 models provide voltages from 200 VDC to 500 VDC at a power level of 0.1 W.
Tight line and load regulation of <±0.01%, a low temperature coefficient of <±50 ppm/°C and a low ripple of <0.01% peak to peak all contribute to the APD series’ very high output stability. Its output is protected against arcing and short circuit and programmable to ±0.5% full scale by means of a 2.5 V input.
